The Olathe Civic Academy provides an opportunity to those who live and/or work in Olathe to learn more about their local government.

Nine sessions are led by representatives from City departments, including the City Manager's Office, Economy, Fire, Quality of Life, Exceptional Services, Police, Infrastructure, Legal, and Boards and Committees and Volunteers.

  • Learn about City government, how it works, and how it impacts your neighborhood.
  • Meet others interested in the Olathe community.
  • Interact with city staff and elected officials.
  • Learn about opportunities to become more involved in municipal government.

  • May 5 (Graduation, 7 p.m.)

*All sessions are from 6 to 9 p.m., unless noted.
