The City of Olathe offers two types of dumpster rental services; call and haul dumpster rentals for residential customers and roll-off container rentals for both residential and commercial customers. Residential Call & Haul Dumpster Rentals

Call and haul dumpster rental services are available to Olathe residential solid waste customers and are great for large-scale cleaning/moving projects.

Two sizes of dumpsters are available for rent either as a weekday or weekend rental. Weekday rentals are delivered on Monday and picked up on Friday. Weekend rentals are delivered on Friday and picked up Monday. All pick-ups and deliveries occur between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Rental fees include emptying the container once at the end of the rental period. If additional emptying is needed, additional charges are applied. Additional charges are applied for overfilled containers.

The following items are not accepted in call and haul dumpsters:

• Construction debris (i.e., bricks, concrete, rocks, gravel)
  • Roll-off container rentals (see information below) can be utilized for construction debris.

Residential & Commercial Roll-Off Container Rentals

Roll-off container rentals are available to City of Olathe residential and commercial customers and are a great option for disposing of construction debris or any large-scale cleaning and moving projects.

20-, 30- and 40-cubic yard container are available to rent and fees are determined by the number of times the container is serviced plus a disposal fee.

Empty and return service for privately-owned compactors is also available and fees are determined by the container size, type and amount of material inside the container, and the number of times the container is serviced.

All roll-off container rental customers must complete the Roll-Off Account Application prior to renting.

Prohibited Items

The following items are not accepted in call and haul dumpsters or roll-off containers.
