This project will improve Lone Elm Road, from 119th Street to Harold Street, to a two-lane arterial section. Improvements will include new pavement, streetlights, curb and gutter, storm sewers, sidewalks and all other work necessary to complete the project.
The project will also:
- Reconfigure the intersection of Lone Elm Road and Harold Street from a four way stop into a new roundabout.
- Rebuild the intersections of 124th Street and 123rd Terrace into a dual roundabout connecting both intersections.
- Install new left and right turn lanes at appropriate intersections.
- Proposed full access points: 120th Street, 122nd Street, 124th & 123rd Terrace with dual roundabout
- Proposed controlled access: 121st Street, 122nd Terr, N. Parker Street, 125th Terr, 126th Street
- Improve the lines of sight at all intersections.
- Provide new pedestrian/bicycle accommodations on both sides of Lone Elm Road.
