The project will also:

  • Install new left and right turn lanes at appropriate intersections.
  • Improve the lines of sight at all intersections to current safety standards.
  • Build a new entrance into Heritage Park.
  • Install infrastructure for a future pedestrian signal at the future Heritage Park entrance.
  • Provide new pedestrian/bicycle accommodations on both sides of Black Bob Road.
  • Improve the intersection of Black Bob Road and 159th Street to full arterial status with left and right turn lanes and modify the traffic signals.
  • Limited improvements to 159th Street will occur on both sides of the intersection with Black Bob Road.
