Plan Review
Fire Plan Review - Deferred Drawing
- A Johnson County Contractors License is required for Fire Alarm (DFA) and Fire Suppression (DF).
- Contact Contractor Licensing at 913-715-2233 (Option #1) to update or obtain a new license.
- Register on our customer portal to upload drawings to the project permit number.
- Contact our office via email or call 913-971-7900 to be added to the building permit as a contact.
- Submit a digital UNLOCKED PDF format set of Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, Hood Suppression, Paint Booth Suppression plans that include the seal of a Professional Engineer on all pages.
- Include any applicable Hydraulic Calculations (stamped), product data or battery calculations.
- All deferred drawings are submitted online.

Crowd Manager
- Crowd managers are required to be provided by event organizers for events (outdoors or indoors) or facilities where more than 1,000 people congregate. The minimum number of crowd managers is one crowd manager to every 250 people (1:250).
