Councilmember Marge Vogt is serving her ninth term on the City Council. She was first elected in April 1997 to represent Ward 4. In January 2024, she was appointed Mayor Pro Tem.

 

Marge has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Colorado and a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas. Marge enjoys a career as a nurse practitioner.  She is married to Tom, a retired Army officer. Together, they have two sons and three grandchildren.

  • T-LINK, worked on transportation initiatives in in Johnson County and Olathe
  • Ridgeview Village Board, which provides affordable care for seniors
