Yes, registration is required using a unique email address for all users applying for any of our city permits or licenses. You must have an account to submit all your application information including any required documentation. You will also use this account to pay for all related fees associated with your application.

Accounts created without an email address will not be accepted or processed. 

You can save your progress and come back to it when you have all the items you need for application. Please note the system will not save your attachments until you submit; however, all other supplied information (location, contact information, required fields) will be retained until you are ready to upload all documentation and submit. Once your full application review is complete, all corresponding fees must be paid in full to issue your permit or license.

Upon submission, you will get a confirmation screen and confirmation email. Your application will then be sent to the correct city department for review. Initial application review to ensure all information is properly submitted may occur within a week. Full application reviews will take longer based on permit/license type.

Yes, an application is considered abandoned 180 days after the submission date, unless such application has been pursued in good faith.

Additionally, approved permits expire and will be invalid 180 days after being issued if work is suspended or abandoned.  In these cases, a new permit or an expired permit fee payment will be required before work may resume.

Yes, registration with a unique email address is required for all users including contractors, vendors, and/or owners looking to schedule an inspection of their project. In order to schedule an inspection, the project will require a permit that has been issued and approved with the city. If you are a contractor needing to schedule an inspection but did not apply for the permit because another project member did, you will need to create an account to schedule an inspection.

You may add a preferred block of time when you request the inspection online. The day of your inspection, you will see your inspector’s name and mobile number in the portal on the inspection so you can text them to narrow down a time frame, cancel an inspection or communicate other requirements.

You will need to log into the application portal and click “Add to Cart” or “Pay Invoices” and enter invoice number in the search bar and follow the prompts.
