On behalf of the men and women of the Olathe Police Department, thank you for taking the time to visit our webpage. As a Law Enforcement Officer with the City of Olathe for over three decades, I have had the privilege of watching our community transform into a model city both regionally and nationally. The citizens of Olathe deserve the best services possible because they have chosen Olathe above all other cities to raise their family, attend our schools, and seek a high quality of life. Our citizens place their trust in us, and our commitment will be to serve with integrity, fairness, and courage.

The Olathe Police Department is committed to providing exceptional services to the citizens of our community and develop positive relationships that will undoubtedly help prevent, reduce, and solve crime. We believe that the Olathe community is the most important partnership we have in helping to keep our city safe. There is no better deterrent to crime than a proactive community that fosters a strong relationship with their police department. I firmly believe that as law enforcement continues to evolve, we must stay current with proven best practices, cutting edge technology, enhanced methods of communication, and strong, trusted, and positive interactions with all citizens. Every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect no matter what transpired to bring our officers into their lives. This is the standard we will fulfill.
