City of Olathe offices will close at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 24, and remain closed through Wednesday, Dec. 25, for the Christmas holiday. City offices will also be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 1, for the New Year’s holiday.

Trash and recycling collection will be delayed one day during the Christmas and New Year weeks. The Transfer Station and Olathe Community Recycling Center will close at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 24, Wednesday, Dec. 25, and Wednesday, Jan. 1. The Household Hazardous Waste Facility and Product Re-Use Store will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25, and Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Olathe Public Libraries will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 24, through Wednesday, Dec. 25. Additionally, the libraries will be closed beginning at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31, through Wednesday, Jan. 1.

Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop & Farm will be closed Monday, Dec. 23, through Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025. Mahaffie will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025.

The Olathe Community Center will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 24 and Wednesday, December 25, and will be open altered hours from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.
